Craig Boronow, Camp Director, and Michelle Boronow
Craig is a product of the Christian camping system and his faith was formed among friends in the rugged mountain trails of the Adirondacks. He is a graduate of Wheaton College in Illinois and has worked in camping full-time for 9 years. He loves to rock climb, mountain bike, and kayak. The best thing about Craig is that he is married to Michelle. Also a Wheaton College grad, Michelle works at camp every summer and has 11 years of experience in camp ministry and social work. Over the years she has worked in many capacities at camp, including an extended stint as Director of Retreats and Conferences.
Seth Coates, Associate Director
Seth Coates is a graduate of Cairn University, and is an expert in many outdoor disciplines. From alpine skiing to rock climbing to mountain biking, Seth has done it all. The best place to get to know Seth this summer will be between the rapids on the Kennebec River. Along with helping to manage MRO, Seth also runs trip department and all our retreats and conferences. Seth, and his wife Cathy have been in camping ministry for 10 years now. They have three beautiful children, Mayne and Brayden and Saydie.
Peter Newton, Food Service Director
Peter Leads our kitchen staff. If you’ve eaten at Moose River Outpost, you know that our food is part of what makes this place feel like home. We have a tradition of great cooking, and Peter has carried the torch and continued that tradition well during his time here at MRO. Peter has worked in food service at Crown College, in Minnesota and at Deerfoot Lodge, in New York State. Having worked at camps before, he knows that the kitchen is the heart of the camp. Next time you’re filling your coffee mug, be sure to say hello to Pete.
